Tribe of Levi House Rules
Discipleship Program — Resident Agreement

These rules exist not to restrict you, but to protect you — and the men beside you. This is a community of brothers walking toward healing, accountability, and faith. We ask every resident to read, understand, and commit to these expectations before entering the program.

1. Faith & Spiritual Life

  1. Residents are expected to actively pursue their relationship with Jesus Christ through daily prayer, Bible reading, and participation in house devotionals.
  2. Attendance at weekly house meetings and designated church services is required.
  3. Residents may not attend outside religious gatherings, studies, or events without prior approval from house leadership.
  4. Proselytizing of other faiths or ideologies within the house is not permitted.

2. Sobriety & Substances

  1. Zero tolerance for alcohol, illegal drugs, or misuse of prescription medications. Violation results in immediate removal from the program.
  2. Residents must submit to random drug and alcohol screening at any time requested by house leadership.
  3. Possession or distribution of any controlled substance on or near the property is grounds for immediate removal and may result in law enforcement notification.
  4. Prescription medications must be disclosed to house leadership and stored according to house policy.
  5. Tobacco and vaping are not permitted inside any house facility.

3. Curfew & Accountability

  1. All residents must be inside the house by 10:00 PM Sunday–Thursday and 11:00 PM Friday–Saturday, unless prior written approval is obtained from house leadership.
  2. Residents must notify house leadership before leaving the property for any reason during restricted hours.
  3. Overnight absences require advance approval and must be reported to a parole or probation officer if applicable.
  4. Residents are expected to account for their whereabouts and activities as part of discipleship accountability.

4. Respect & Conduct

  1. Residents will treat all house leaders, staff, visitors, and fellow residents with dignity and respect at all times.
  2. Profanity, verbal abuse, intimidation, and threatening behavior are not tolerated.
  3. Physical violence of any kind — including threats — will result in immediate removal and potential criminal charges.
  4. Residents may not possess weapons of any kind on the property.
  5. Sexual misconduct of any kind, including inappropriate material, is prohibited and may result in removal.
  6. Residents are expected to resolve conflicts through open, honest communication with house leadership — not with other residents directly if tensions are elevated.

5. Service Hours & Work

  1. Each resident is required to complete a minimum number of service hours per week as assigned by house leadership.
  2. Residents are expected to actively pursue employment or a structured educational/vocational program unless otherwise approved.
  3. Income, employment status, and financial obligations (fines, restitution, child support) must be disclosed and managed responsibly.
  4. A monthly program contribution (rent) is required for all residents able to work. Amount is set by house leadership and reviewed regularly.

6. House Responsibilities

  1. Each resident is assigned chores and is responsible for maintaining their personal space and shared common areas in a clean, orderly condition.
  2. Personal belongings must be kept in designated areas. The house is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
  3. Residents may not bring guests onto the property without prior approval from house leadership.
  4. Female guests are not permitted in residential areas under any circumstances.
  5. Residents may not use another resident's belongings without permission.
  6. Unauthorized use of house vehicles, equipment, or resources is prohibited.

7. Technology & Media

  1. Internet-capable devices are permitted but must be used responsibly. Pornography, gambling sites, and illegal content are strictly prohibited and may be cause for immediate removal.
  2. House leadership reserves the right to inspect devices when there is reasonable cause for concern.
  3. Social media use must not compromise the safety, privacy, or reputation of Tribe of Levi, its residents, or its staff.
  4. Residents may not post photos or videos of other residents without explicit consent.

8. Relationships & Family

  1. Romantic relationships during the first 90 days of the program are discouraged and require leadership approval.
  2. Family visitation is encouraged in appropriate settings and must be approved by house leadership.
  3. House leadership reserves the right to restrict contact with individuals deemed harmful to a resident's recovery or safety.
  4. Residents must honor any existing court orders, restraining orders, or custody agreements at all times.

9. Program Participation

  1. Full participation in all scheduled house meetings, discipleship sessions, classes, and program events is required.
  2. Residents must engage with their assigned mentor or accountability partner on a regular basis.
  3. Residents are expected to remain in the program for the full committed duration. Early departure without leadership approval may result in loss of program benefits.
  4. Violations of these rules will be addressed first through grace and restoration. Repeated or serious violations may result in removal from the program.
  5. Removal from the program due to rule violations does not constitute any financial refund of program contributions.

10. Commitment to the Tribe Pact

  1. By signing this agreement, the resident acknowledges they have read, understand, and agree to all of the above rules and expectations.
  2. The resident understands that Tribe of Levi is a faith-based discipleship ministry and agrees to participate in the Christian principles and lifestyle at the core of this program.
  3. The resident gives permission for Tribe of Levi leadership to communicate with their probation/parole officer, case worker, or approved family contacts as necessary for their care and accountability.
  4. The resident understands that this agreement is a commitment made before God and their brothers — not merely a legal document — and will honor it as such.
